2021, Writing Performance
This four day long durational performance was an exploration of gender, space, & the abstraction of language. Every word was written in real time. The handwritten Nepali texts stuck on the walls, sometimes projected; the multiple titles of the writer and of the work stuck on the floor; the English texts typed on a laptop in a scroll & projected simultaneously, all caved in on the writer until she* became nothing but the expression of language. The writer is a mere projection of constructs & expression.
